The City of Stevens Point
is proud to announce it is the newest member of the Wisconsin Main Street
Program.
Selected on Tuesday, April 20, 2004, by the Council on Main Street, the
Association of Downtown Businesses finalized the application process it
began last November. Once formally approved by Governor Doyle, Downtown Stevens Point will receive an estimated investment of $125,000 in on-site visits, training, and technical assistance from the Main Street Program for the first five years.
