Ramsa-Wolf has registered five mustard varieties for certification by pro local

A commitment to local mustard specialties

We are pleased to announce that the renowned Austrian family business Ramsa-Wolf has decided to have five of its well-known Austrian mustard varieties tested by us.

Ramsa-Wolf mustard creations have stood for traditional craftsmanship and incomparable taste since the company was founded in 1926. In keeping with tradition, Katrin Segel, the current managing director, produced her first mustard at the age of 15. In 2014, she took over the management of the business from her mother Liselotte. In her hands lies the continuous future orientation of the company in all aspects of sustainability.

A strong entrepreneurial family: Franz, Lili, Katrin and Stephan

Innovation is particularly important to Katrin. When she found out about our label and the transparency it provides for consumers, the path to a joint cooperation was quickly paved.

With our certification, we not only want to confirm quality in accordance with all Austrian guidelines, but also highlight Ramsa-Wolf’s commitment to regional value creation and sustainability. In addition to regional ingredients for its mustard, Ramsa-Wolf produces entirely in Austria and also pays its taxes here. This helps the local economy and at the same time ensures the shortest possible delivery and transport routes to protect the climate.

As soon as the audit is completed, we will provide another update in our blog and publish the audit report in our online reports. This transparency is particularly important to us, as it enables people to make informed decisions when shopping and consciously choose products that correspond to their own values.

We are proud to work with Ramsa-Wolf to help strengthen the local economy and offer consumers first-class, regional products.

Many thanks to Ramsa-Wolf for their trust in our certification processes. Together we are committed to transparency, quality and sustainability.
